The Downer Law Firm, P.A., was proud to partner with the Salvation Army for the 2025 Angel Tree Program. Our Charlotte office was a drop-off location, offering community members the opportunity to fulfill the wishes of those in need. This program allowed us to connect with our community over a common goal: to bring joy to children during the holiday season. We are so pleased with the outpouring of support we received in making our participation a success.
For over ten years The Downer Law Firm, P.A. has been a drop off and starting point for William’s Walk. Our firm recognizes the issue of food insecurity in our community and William’s Walk is our way to help families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. The month before Thanksgiving, a food drive is held to collect non-perishable food items. On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the food collected is walked in a symbolic 1 mile walk and donated to Loaves and Fishes as well as the Second Harvest Food Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. While this event has taken a hiatus, we look forward to its return as this event has been a pillar of our community efforts for several years.
